It’s that time of year again! Time to thank your GM for all their hard work. You don’t have to do anything fancy. Sure, I gift is nice but there’s a few things that you can do.
If the GM gives you a 1 page synopsis of the setting. Read it before writing a 20 page character background.
If you character leveled up at the end of last session then update your character before the next session.
It’s OK for a player to question a GM’s call but don’t start an argument in the middle of game. It can wait.
Stay off your phone/laptop/tablet during the game unless it’s something that is directly related to the game.
Show up on time.
At least try to meet the GM half way on the plot train.
If you’re a veteran player with a newbie GM. Take it easy on them.
Basically, make the game more fun for everyone. The other players and the GM.
Remember, roll dice. Have fun. Kill monsters. And take their stuff.
