I know like what I think really matters in the big scheme of things. Well, I don’t care. So yes. I’m saying that EZD6 takes it as my “Game of the Year”.

Why this game? Well, the title pretty much says it all. It’s easy and it only uses d6’s. It’s a great game to teach new comers. It’s fun for folks who have more experience. Play is fast. Prep is easy. Character generation is snap. It’s great for pick up games and one shots. And yes could use it for long term campaign too. EZD6 falls into that”Hey, let’s play something different” category. by something different, I mean non D&D based. And at least in my experience, when players say that it also means that they don’t want to learn a bunch of new rules or go with a system that really crunchy.

I admit that I don’t have plans in the future to run this as a campaign but I do keep it handy in case I get asked to run some game on really short notice. So yes, IMHO it is well worth the money and accolades.
