Knave 2E & The Only Book You Need

Both real life and the day job have been challenging. But things are still moving ahead and I got a little done. It’s time for a video round up.

I got the final PDF of Knave 2E and it’s pretty good. Lots of handy random tables but the system does have a few quirks that I’m not too fond of but that’s just me. The best feature is that it’s so lite on the crunch that you can hack it very easily.

And I went all out crazy with a click bait title. But, at least, in my opinion it’s true. Grab up the Rules Cyclopedia even if you’ve got tons of the rules books. There so much to use, to be inspired, and to learn.

  1. I agree that spell books holding only one spell breaks the suspension of disbelief. I reflavor books to scrolls because that akes more sense. If you haven’t seen it yet, check out Vaults of Vaarn which is a hack of the 1st edition of Knave. It has some races which provide feats which adds a little more character abilities.
